Your Role

Imagine yourself at the forefront of innovation, playing a pivotal role in our scale-up's growth story. As a Quantitative Business Development Analyst, your role is to provide direction to business and project development supporting SeaQurrent’s roll out of the TidalKite system. You'll support the business and project development colleagues, connect with stakeholders, analyse market dynamics, and point projects towards success.

What You’ll Do

Picture yourself as a key player in our dynamic and innovative team. Your days will be filled with a variety of exciting and impactful tasks, including:

  • Strategic Collaboration: Work closely on TidalKite project strategies and drive the progress of our sales funnel, ensuring we meet our ambitious goals.
  • Geospatial Analysis: Use GIS tools like QGIS to map out and analyse ideal project locations and setups, contributing to the strategic placement of our technology.
  • Environmental Data Analysis: Execute detailed analysis of environmental monitoring data, processing results, and creating visualizations to inform project decisions.
  • Tidal Energy Modelling: Model tidal energy flows at various sites to optimise our technology's performance and impact.
  • Valuation Modelling: Conduct detailed valuation modelling to support the viability of our projects, ensuring they are financially sound and sustainable.
  • Market Analysis: Track and analyse market developments, trends, and regulations to support project and subsidy applications, guiding our overall growth strategy.
  • Competitive Benchmarking: Benchmark our technology against industry competitors to maintain our competitive edge and ensure continuous improvement.
  • Team Contribution: In a startup environment, flexibility is key. You'll contribute to various other ongoing activities, bringing your unique skills and insights to diverse projects.

What We're Looking For

We're seeking someone who:

  • Holds a Bachelor's or Master's degree in technology, econometrics, economics, or equivalent.
  • Excels in project management and thrives on quantitative analysis, complex problems and data management
  • Communicates with clarity and builds strong relationships.
  • Shares our dedication to shaping a sustainable future through innovation.
  • Is a team player with a proactive mindset and a knack for practical problem-solving.
  • Embraces the diversity and challenges of a startup environment.
  • Is fluent in English, both spoken and written. Command of Dutch is a plus.
